The mapping project of the cultural planning process is progressing, as the culturability teams has finished its tour around the BSR region. They visited Gdansk in Poland, Kiel in Germany, Nakskov in Denmark, Riga in Latvia, Pori in Finland and Visaginas in Lithuania. On this tour, they conducted interviews with people living in the areas participating in the project. This was to create interaction between the people living in the area and the municipalities. These interviews and SWOT analysis will create the foundation for the planning going forward.
The tour lived up to all expectations and all the participants enjoyed the process. The culturability team worked with local partner in all the cities they visited, and a foundation for a long and fruitful cooperation was built. The next step is a meeting in November where the project will be further discussed and the next step will be planned. This was done in cooperation with the EU BSR INTERREG.
